Borjomi – The gorge is covered by mountains covered by coniferous and mixed-leaved forests. Some mountain range adjacent to the resort reaches 3000 m above sea level. “Borjomi” – a volcanic origin of mineral water from the city-resort of the same name, which calculates more than 1500 years of natural data. For many years it was the most popular in the Russian Empire, the former Soviet Union and beyond. Borjomi’s water rises from the depth of 8-10 km on the surface of the earth through natural gas and carbon dioxide pressure. In contrast to much other mineral water, it does not have time to come up from the land in cold condition and rises up on the surface to a warm (38-41 ° C) condition, which “way by way” became rich with composition of 60 different minerals of the Caucasus Mountains. Results of Borjomi Water Survey show that in its formation take part the deep mineralized, modern freshwater and low mineralization waters.
